Proper functioning of this chakra:
The heart chakra often onnects the lower part of the body (physical) to the upper part (spiritual). This chakra is very important for our spiritual development, being located on top of the heart, regulating all human love, feelings and emotions. Therefore, the heart chakra connects people to others and to the divine, bringing much love, sympathy, compassion, caring, devotion, unconditional love, forgiveness, generosity, lack of selfishness to one's life. It also has the amazing capacity to link the spiritual ability to love, to the physical expression of this divine emotion. This chakra also allows people to realise the beauty of life, nature, music and arts. The heart chakra also teach people about unconditional love and altruism. Unconditional love in this sense does not bare disharmony, separation, feelings of rejection, anger, lack of acceptance, grief, despair, sense of loss, selfishness, pain, sorrow, fear and anxiety, but a complete openness to the divine and life itself. Unconditional love is universal, divine, cosmic and does not need any prerequisites to show itself. Its never motivated by selfishness or by expectancy, being pure in acceptance of oneself and others. True love also gives people the opportunity to unconditionally open their hearts to life and to God. Therefore, the heart chakra gives people the potential and opportunity to heal themselves and others. And when functioning harmoniously, it can perform miracles, accelerating cures and transforming lives for the better.
When open, this chakra also radiates green, pink and golden colours ( which represent happiness, willingness to help others, harmony, natural warmth, love and grace). Green is also the colour of all healers and Lightworkers. Pink and Golden are divine colours, indicating pure light and harmonious love. Interesting enough, the heart chakra is viewed by most healers, as an extremely important center for the development of the third eye chakra and all other chakras. The malfunctioning of the heart chakra may lead to: Feeling easily depressed, disappointed with others, life and with the world; Feeling victimized by society and people; Feeling that he/she gives a lot of love and attention to others, not getting true value and recognition in return; Feeling inability to express deep feelings, tenderness and love; Feeling embarrassed and constantly afraid of rejection; Associating deep feelings with weakness and lack of personal strength; Feeling that gives away love to others, not receiving any in return; Selfishness and incapacity to judge properly life situations and people; Incapacity to harmoniously relate to others.
When blocked or closed, this chakra may also reveal a person that in social occasions seems truly friendly, tender, open and caring, but that deep inside has a cold, manipulative heart, unbalanced, with tendency for depression, gloominess and self-pity. The lack of genuine feelings for others, indifference, coldness and heartlessness often prevents this person from truly develop humanly and spiritually. |
