Other Reiki Schools
There are several Reiki schools worldwide. Although Sharehealing follows the original "Usui School of Natural Healing or Usui Shiki Ryoho", we also find important to briefly mention to our readers other Reiki schools.
How many Reiki systems exist worldwide?
In order to avoid confusions between Reiki schools and their teaching methods, its important to mention that there is only ONE Reiki system in the planet, although with new lineages, masters, teachings and schools. There are several variations to the way some practitioners conduct healing, but the basics are the same.
Next we briefly mention some of these schools and methods.
The Tera-Mai Reiki school
Kathleen Milner is the founder of this Reiki school, which is based in the original system created by Master Usui. Having followed Dr. Takata's lineage, she introduced new Reiki symbols to the ones already existing, and new initiation methods into traditional Reiki. Therefore, this school accredited worldwide has presently many students and followers, specially in North America.
The Seichem Reiki school
Patrick Zeigler was the founder of this Reiki school in 1979. This school not only comprises the teachings of Zeigler, but also of Kathleen Milner. Nevertheless, Seichem Reiki is mostly based in the "healing ray teachings", or teachings of the 4 elements: earth, water, fire and air.
The Karuna-ki Reiki school
Kathleen Milner, is also considered the founder of the Karuna-ki Reiki school. Again new Reiki symbols were revealed to her after studying Seichem Reiki and Sai Baba Reiki. In this sense, Karuna-ki Reiki is based in the notion of unconditional love and compassion for all human beings and life.
The Karuna Reiki schoolThese teachings were revealed to Glenn Derrick and William Lee Rand in 1993. Some people also believe, that they both received new symbols directly from the Guru Sai Baba, which lead to the creation of the Karuna Reiki school. In a nutshell, Karuna Reiki comprises teachings around the element fire. As a powerful element to work with, 'fire energy" is not advisable to be practiced by people in disharmony or out of balance. This technique requires some expertise and can only be practiced and learned with the aid of a Karuna Reiki Master. The Lightarian Reiki school
This school of Reiki was founded in the USA (Arizona), by Jeannine and Christopher Jelm. They both linked Reiki with Angelic beings and Ascended masters, believing that energetic healing can be enhanced or accelerated with the aid of enlightened beings.
They also believe, that the traditional Reiki and Karuna schools are giving place to a new type of Reiki, based on the teachings of Buddha himself. Jeannine and Christopher Jelm have received from the ascended master and through meditation, new symbols and Reiki attunements.
The Urevia Reiki school
This school is for some people similar to traditional Reiki. The difference between traditional Reiki and the Urevia energy, is the frequency in which it vibrates.
The Urevia Reiki followers believe, that there are presently many new different types of energy active on earth, being easily tapped by more developed healers. Reason why they defend, that Urevia also works with light beings, the healing ray and with the universal consciousness of God.
Therefore, the Urevia Reiki school works with "sacred geometry", in order to help people shifting their DNA to a higher vibrational frequency. This will then create a stronger unity with nature, planet, God and with the cosmos.
The Shamballa Multi-dimensional Reiki school
This school was founded by John Armitage, being also called the" New Age Reiki school" (previously known as "Shamballa Reiki").
His followers claim, that John Armitage received new Reiki information via changelings, and directly from the Master St. Germain. Reason why, some people believe that this type of healing allows humans to tap into very ancient forms of healing from the Atlantean and Lemurian times. This recently rediscovered healing school, also allows Reiki practitioners to work "multidimensionally".
The Imara Reiki school
The word "Imara" means "more Reiki". This new school was developed by the Wendel brothers, being also perceived as a higher vibrational method of practicing Reiki. The Imara Reiki School believes that the power of intention and the power of the mind can heal.
The Imara Reiki School does not work with normal Reiki symbols. Some people describe it as "the highest level of Reiki existing on earth", or that humans can practice and experience in this life time (only accessible to Reiki Masters). In terms of attunements, the Imara Reiki makes the process easier and faster to apply.
Under the umbrella of this Reiki school, people can experience a stronger connection with God, with the Universe, with their Ascended masters and with Angels.
This system also claims to reinforce the cleansing process of the body, by removing past karmic blockages. And the Imara Reiki school followers also believe, that situations that have not yet happened and have not yet impacted the life of a person, can already be removed from their lives, auras and chakras. | Most important schools of Reiki worldwide | | Men Chho Reiki | | Usui-do Reiki | | Satya Japanese Reiki | | Jin-Kei Do Reiki | | Blue Star Reiki | | Golden Age Reiki | | New Life Reiki | | Mari el Reiki | | Saku Reiki | | Sun Li Chung Reiki | | Traditional Usui Reiki | | Raku Reiki | | Tera-Mai Reiki | | Usui Tibetan Reiki | | Karuna Reiki | | Seichem Reiki | | Radiance Reiki | | Johrei Reiki | | Jinlap Reiki | | Vajra Reiki | | Ichi Sekai Reiki | | Imara Reiki | | Shamballa Multi-dimensional Reiki | | Urevia Reiki | | Lightarian Reiki |
